New Year New Hope

WE ARE near the ultimate moment of the current year. As the seconds of 2008 tick away, and with the inevitable entry of 2009, we are drawn into a circumstance where end and beginning meld. This ushers in an opportunity for all of us to assess our past, present, and the mysterious unknown, the future. What, in the past year, should we stop doing, what should we continue doing, and what, in 2009, should we start doing to better the life of our country and people? The year that is about to pass presented an existence precarious to all of us at the national level a politically frightening financial crisis, a socially devastating rate of inflation, and an economically debilitating flight of investors causing a slowdown in national and local development. As the country crosses the imaginary divide that separates the current year from the incoming one, what should we do to make life a bit better? Certainly, efforts must be done to resolve the fiscal dilemma, the runaway inflation and our political outlook. Certainly, as we begin the New Year, the challenge is for us to rectify the failures of 2008 as well as strive to build on its successes so that 2009 will be much more rewarding to our lives.
I hope that this new year will bring many opportunities in your way, to explore every joy of life and may your resolutions for the days ahead stay firm, turning all your dreams into reality and all your efforts into great achievements.

Mumbai Terrorist Attack

Dear Friends....I am reading peoples reaction on the terrorist attack from past one month....but could not able to write any line about this accident but today let me pen down my feelings. "India is a land of Leaders" ....Country full of citizens with great great Ideas....people who have suggestion and solution for every problem of this world....The only thing India is missing is people who can follow those rules....A MAN who can be said DISCIPLINED.....I agree with you all that no doubt politicians are corrupt....the problem is today the literate and guys who can be called as backbone of Indian economy are so busy and believe that thinking about country and politics is a real waste of time...I think we have a parallel society that lives in a different world of there own far away from all this things...and who becomes active only during such occasion.....anyway...this is again blaming others for the past, current and future problems....
This post will not complete without expressing my deepest and heart full condolences to the families of the victims and a salute to all the brave commandos who fought the ordeal for so many hours.
Dear All Indian...now lets suggest something which we can change in ourself for better future. PLEASE ANYONE WHO COMES TO WRITE SUGGESTION PLEASE DO SUGGEST SOMETHING WHICH WE CAN CHANGE IN OURSELF....BECAUSE I THINK THAT IS BIT MORE PRACTICAL THAN CHANGING THE ENTIRE GOVERNMENT AND SYSTEM.....I do expect some GOOD WORDS from young angry blood of India ......will never mind that...but I am waiting for the one who might think the way I think ...or may make me feel that i am entirely wrong in my way.....

My Academic Journey

Born in a small village called Dhayoti, of Uttar Pradesh, a North Indian State. I completed my elementary education from my village School, And then I moved to a Intermediate School which was in a small town called Mandi Dhanaura. My university- Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut from where I have completed my Graduation, After the graduation, I moved to Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where I completed my Masters and PhD, was a wonderful experience of my life. In India everyone has dream to study in a famous Institute like IIT's, and I got the chance to study in IIT Roorkee, it was the turning point of my life. When I entered in the Institute, i excited after seeing a big Campus and good infrastructure and good computer facility. Unfortunately that time I was not very much familiar with the Computer. I was very excited to work on computer and I had decided to do work on computer as much as possible after finishing my Masters I joined PhD in a field of Computational Material Science. A Life as a Ph.D. student is never easy. But while working towards my degree I enjoyed some beautiful moments specially when I got married in 2006 and shifted to family hostel from a bachelor hostel. Roorkee gave me lots of good memories to treasure, many good friends for life, and opened the doors for me to work as a good researcher. I got a chance to visit IFW Dresden, Germany in Feb 2007. This was my first foreign trip. I had already joined a German language course in IITR. This helped me a lot during my Germany trip. And I found myself in Germany a country of extremes from snow-iced mountains to hot lazy Mediterranean beaches, from un-spoilt hill villages to cities that have bustled for thousands of years. Beautiful scenery, warm people, amazing sites, long history, rich culture, incredible food and wine are all part of what made my stay there a magical experience. Mean while, I got the postdoctoral fellowship in South Korea. Finally, I moved to South Korea to join Post-Doc position in Sungkyunkwan University Suwon, a city famous for the Samsung Electronics. I find South Korea - a complete new world, which according to me is a perfect blend of US, Germany and India! I can find impatient drivers like India with the road conditions – highways and freeway of the US. It is here where I find superb busses, perfect public transport and non-English speaking people like Germany. A technologically more advanced than any other part of the world for me; I found South Koreans still preserving their age old culture - battling with the young generations to follow the west. A well cultured society where people bow to each other, eat lot of red-chilly, work harder and drink harder than any other people I found!
